Day Twoish of Training...

So yesterday I worked overtime, I was up late the night before and was exhausted when I came home. I would like to say it was an accident that I fell asleep on the couch for three hours, however I was wearing my trusty onesie... so we can say it was intentional. When I woke up it was too dark to go, and Mauzy wasn't home so I decided to skip and wait until today. Ran 4k steady run - 6:11 average It was a lot nicer day then the other day so Mauzy and I ran an extra kilometer than we were supposed to. I tell ya, I love my garmin gps watch. It really helps me keep pace with my running. My biggest problem is I'm always in competition with myself. My training tells me that I'm supposed to keep my pace at 6:35, but I feel like I have to go faster... this is how I figure I got my stress fracture last year so I'm trying my best not to push too hard too fast... but it's so hard not too. Went to the gym tonight and worked out on my back and did another 30 minutes of cardio. Saturday I'm going to try crossfit, so I will report back on how that goes.
